The Southwest Laborers’ District Council is an affiliate body of the Laborers’ International Union covering Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas with 7 Local Unions. From general laborers’ on pipeline work, new construction, maintenance, service contracts (under the Service Contract Act), public employees, hazardous waste removal, environmental remediation (including asbestos abatement, lead abatement and mold removal), demolition, water proofing, nuclear plants, refineries, industrial and commercial plants, professional employees and much more.

Headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Southwest Laborers District Council administers a variety of programs to assist members of the Laborers’ Union in furthering their education through skills training and promotion of personal health and job site safety. The SWLDC also, promotes and administers the growth and success of signatory contractors with new and innovative marketing techniques.
